Welcome! Carver Middle is a proud part of the Covington County School District. Our vision and mission statements are important to us at CMS. Our vision is to provide a safe and orderly
school where all students can become successful learners. Our mission is to effectively educate
all students by providing high quality instruction in a safe, orderly, and caring environment.
Our school has a motto of "Yes, we can!" We are able to provide quality instruction that is
differentiated, rigorous, relevant and data driven with our highly qualified faculty & staff. We
are excited to be working as a team with our district office, parents and community members.
We are fortunate to have a reading lab, a computer lab , and two carts of mini computers
with 32 computers each that are used to help our students grow academically. Technology skills
and career opportunities are taught in computer discovery classes for 8th grade students and career discovery classes for 7th grade students. Technology skills are also enhanced with classroom computers.
We hold weekly drawings to recognize our students for good behavior and perfect attendance.
In addition, our teachers are also recognized for perfect attendance with a weekly drawing.
We are also implementing positive behavior intervention strategies.
We have a GREAT school, GREAT students, GREAT teachers, and GREAT parents!
